Description: Written by Thomas Middleton and freely adapted by Jim Wren and Joe Sturgeon, The Revenger’s Tragedy is a Jacobean tragedy re-imagined as a tribute to modern female action thrillers. Set in a modern underworld, the play opens with the wedding of a mysterious woman named Vi. When the celebration is brutally interrupted by the Duke and his men, it ultimately ends in a blood bath that only Vi survives. Four years later, Vi exacts revenge on her love by destroying everything and everyone surrounding the Duke. FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY: ADULT CONTENT, LANGUAGE, AND VIOLENCE Sunday Matinee at 2:00 p.m.
