Description: Think Green: Folk Art and Found Object Graphic Design. Summer Studio Artists will be inspired by the amazing creativity of the folk artists in the Smith Callaway Banks Southern Folk Art Gallery at Georgia Southern University. During part of their day in the studio, students will produce artwork using the same methods and materials folk artists use to create fascinating artworks. The other part of students’ imaginative day will be spent in the design studios, where they will develop the design skills and create a marketing graphics to encourage recycling—like a folk artist does with found objects. *Register up until the first day of class*
