Description: Every small town has its gossip, but not every small town has that gossip adapted into a Pulitzer prize winning play. Georgia Southern University's Theatre and Performance presents Look Homeward, Angel on October 3 in the Black Box theatre in the Center for Art and Theatre at 7:30 pm. The show will run from October 3 through October 11. Look Homeward, Angel, adapted by Ketti Frings from Thomas Wolfe's 1929 semi-autobiographical novel, deals with the struggles of a young man leaving behind his home and family to go to college. Wolfe's novel was once considered one of America's great works after its release, but it has become less commonly used in educational settings. The show will run from October 3rd through the 11th with a matinée on Sunday, Oct. 5th and no show on the 6th. Tickets are $4 for students, $8 for faculty and staff, and $12 general admission.
