Description: Dates: Thursdays, February 21 to April 4 (no class February 28) Time: 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Location: College Plaza Activity Room, Statesboro, GA Cost: $125/couple and $75/person The East Coast Swing was developed as a slower, easier dance to complement the Big Band music of the past. Often called Jitterbug, the East Coast Swing's circular motion makes it nice for dancing in a spot even to faster pace songs like Jailhouse Rock or Rockin' Robin.
