Description: "Helping Mid-stage Dementia Patients With Personal Care" is the topic for discussion at Nov 12 Alzheimer's Association caregiver support group meeting. Family members assisting a loved one with eating, bathing, dressing or toileting have the opportunity to share concerns, learn new techniques, and prepare emotionally for the prospect of giving hands on care to a parent, a spouse, or a sibling. Other topics of general concern will also be addressed. The group is led by an Alzheimer's Association volunteer with educational materials from the Alzheimer's Association regional office.
