Description: The Department of Physics of the College of Science and Technology is proud to unveil our new immersive digital planetarium system, Digistar 4, to the public with free full dome shows and live presentations: 3 & 4 pm: WONDERS OF THE UNIVERSE - Peer deep into space through the eyes of the orbiting Hubble Space Telescope and travel back billions of years in time to witness the birth of the Universe. On this breathtaking excursion you'll witness the formation of galaxies and explore some of the most wondrous nebulae and astronomical structures yet discovered. As your travels continue, you'll fly deep into our own Milky Way Galaxy and return home to Earth on a spectacular tour through the Solar System. From Evans and Sutherland Digital Theater Productions. Free sky maps, Moon maps, telescopic observing if skies are clear in the evening, and more! Admission: FREE We will be collecting canned and non-perishable food to donate to our local food bank for those in need in our community, thank you for your donations. Location: The planetarium is in the Math/Physics Building (#203 on map) across Herty Drive from Hanner Fieldhouse/Complex between the Eidson House (Honors) and the Biology Building.
