2015 Santa's Toy Run

The weather was absolutely perfect for the 2015 Santa's Toy Run! I am proud to say another successful run is under our belts. A lot of planning goes into the Toy Run and we could not make this happen without our supporters and most of all those that come and participate in the event.

Memorial day is never over.

It has been a month since Memorial Day. This should not be a once a year event. We should continue to remember and honor those who gave their lives to protect our country.

Walk in My Shoes is a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 in Bulloch County that helps provide clothing, shoes, school supplies, etc. to children in our community who are less fortunate. We are in the process of opening up a thrift store in Brooklet located at The Spot Character & Leadership Development Center at 130 E. Caring Closet Pilot Club Project Moves

In June, the Statesboro "Caring Closet" project to assist those with dementia causing illnesses, moved from the Outreach Center on Denmark Street to Pittman Park United Methodist Church on Fair Road . The physical move of supplies was facilitated by local volunteers and by staff from the Coastal Georgia Alzheimer's Association regional office.
