Portal's Catface Turpentine Festival Success


Saturday and Sunday's perfect weather welcomed crowds of local and area families to enjoy Portal's 27th Annual Catface Turpentine Festival.
In addition to a great parade, the usual crafts, festival foods, children's rides, pony rides, rosin baked potatoes, freshly ground corn meal, turpentine making/pouringselling, cake walks, disc jockey, stage performances, Lowe's setup, a Saturday night dance, two new areas were introduced within the festival.

Statesboro Master Plan


The City of Statesboro will be hosting its second interactive workshop to seek public involvement in the development of the Statesboro Comprehensive Master Plan. Hospital Auxiliary makes donation to SRSAC


The Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary recently made a donation to the Statesboro Regional Sexual Assault Center(SRSAC). The mission of the SRSAC is to provide immediate assistance to victims of sexual assault and to provide outreach and advocacy in Bulloch, Screven, and Jenkins counties.
