Tattnall Campmeeting
For those of you that don't know about it, Tattnall Campmeeting is a special, old-fashioned religious experience for Christians in our area. A square with an over 100 year old Tabernacle in the center is the site of daily services, at 11:00 and 7:30. Vacation Bible School
As a youngster, many moons ago, I remember spending some of my summer vacation attending Vacation Bible School. I recall the fun and enjoyment of learning bible verses and being with friends.
This year I decided to enroll my grandaughter, Iliah, in VBS. She attended First Baptist of Statesboro's "Outrigger Island". She also attended the music camp immediately following VBS. A couple of weeks later, she attended Eastern Heights' "Power Lab"

Believers Church in Statesboro is CRAZY about their kids. For this year's Vacation Bible School week, they're going ALL OUT. The first 50 kids to register for the week received passes for Splash in the Boro, and the kids who bring the most guests during the week get entered to win a Nintendo Wii!
