Last week, the Stirrup Some Fun Horseback Riding program coordinator, Alison Brown, received a call from Mr. (Coach) Jack and Mrs. Norma Stallings. They wanted to donate 220 square bales of hay to the program! YIPPEE!!! (now, for those of you who bale/purchase hay, you know that it's $4.00 a bale--that's a savings to our program of $888!!!) I would just like to commend the Statesboro Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department (SBCPRD)on having the BEST baseball fields that I have seen in the entire state.

Auxiliary of East Georgia Regional Presents Check


The Auxiliary of East Georgia Regional President, Rex Sauls, recently presented a $1000 check to the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department's Stirrup Some Fun Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program's coordinator, Alison Brown (right). The donation will be used to provide scholarships for low income therapeutic children and to provide feed and shoe repairs for the horses. SBCPRD thanks the Auxiliary for its support for this beneficial program.
