I wrote the following piece on my personal blog and was encouraged by a friend to post a link to it here. Be forewarned: it contains grownup words which may not be appropriate to all audiences. Also, comments left on my personal web site are subject to what blogger John Scalzi refers to as "The Mallet of Loving Correction."

Advertising is against the sites rules. But so is obscene, vulgar, profane, abusive, bullying, harassing or threatening racially, ethnically or religiously offensive, which wildturkey does on an almost daily biases.

Not advertising. It's my personal blog, which is advertising-free. Feel free to check it out -- no one will try to sell you anything, I promise.

Guess wildturkey found nothing to generate a reasonable discourse - you never waste time reading a reasonable presentation of someone else's opinions. Especially when they are different from your own. If a post makes you think or react or question - as long as it's not a personal attack - it's a good post.

Mitt the Moderate
November 08, 2012
You want to know who might have beaten the pants of Obama? Mitt the Moderate. You know, the guy who governed Massachusetts. The guy who blueprinted ObamaCare. The guy who appeared briefly in the first debate and at the butt-end of this campaign. THAT GUY would have probably toppled a ...

The thing about your beliefs is this...

Inside your own home, there is someone who does not agree with every thought you have and every opinion you hold. Among the congregants of your church, distinctions exist about how to interpret the gospels and commandments and the endless litany of Levitican rules and regulations. Within your religion are ...

The NFL, the NBA and Wisconsin labor
March 05, 2011
I spent some time thinking about the NFL/NBA labor situation and how they might relate to the Wisconsin labor kerfuffle. As always, this link leads to my own blog, where I can play with a bit more freedom. Please feel welcome to comment on the web site or here ...
