It was a good idea in theory, but the last couple of times that I have visited Chic-fil-A, the second lane was closed. Not to mention that you have to circumvent the whole building to get in line!
I used to do Chik-Fil-A all the time, but I've only been through that drive-thru once since it opened. Complete pain in the booty.
At least the people taking and filling your orders at Chick Fil A seem to appreciate your business. Some other counter workers give you the "oh no there's another customer" look when you open the door. And I'm starting to really hate the "Welcome to XXXXX" in the "play the tape" tone getting yelled at me when I come inside restaurants. I just want them to give me a smile while they take my money. Maybe just act like they want me there instead of someone who just created more for them to do. And they could keep the "welcome to yelling" to yourself. One day I'm gonna yell back "help me I'm hungry!"
Also, at least Chick Fil A is one place they don't still have the birthday chants of loud noise that really brings headaches to others just trying to enjoy their meal.
I like the idea that the servers are all clean and long fingernail NOT. They have a PR person that really gets on my nerves however.
