That's true, walkie,, so too is the concept of "TRUTH",, as in beauty, it is in the eye/mind of the beholder from his/her perspective; yet, sometimes the absolute truth withstands all attacks.
In this situation with the Herald being biased, per truthwarrior, anyone with half sense will know writers must quote as exact as possible from the source. Yes, misquotes happen all the time but NOT as often as the speaker saying "I was misquoted". A newspaper is a written record, subject to libel if not worded carefully.
Further if anyone with that half sense also has one eye, they will know by now, reading these blogs, that Herald has two reporters,, use the half sense and the one eye to realize people need to give the Herald information sometimes. The Herald can't have someone at all types of meetings, at all types of sporting events, report on the street,, etc.
IF TRUTHWARRIOR
(continuing) if truthwarrior wanted to say the Herald needs to upgrade its personnel, to hire sufficient people to justify its daily 8 or 10 pages, etc etc OR IF truthwarrior were to say we need a progressive reporting daily newspaper to accompany our growing City/County, I would be first in line to support such a statement. To simply see bias because a person does not agree with something is silly.
Mo n' Christy, I doubt it. NOBODY in print journalism's hiring, unless you're selling some kind of "I can make you money off the Web and save your paper" snake oil to gullible management types.
