This is a picture of a bobcat that I caught with my game camera near the Mill Creek Park. I really would love to have one of a black panther. This was in April 2007. He has not been back. Maybe he was the one they killed?

Deborah,

Did they kill one near Mill Creek Park? The one that attacked a man and is believed to be the one two men killed a few days later was out off Sinkhole Road, near Kennedy Pond. It was a female and believed to have had rabies.
Another one was captured off Pulaski Road a few months later, and looked very old and sick. I am sure bobcats can roam great distances as well. That's a beautiful one - I have to get a game camera!!

Great picture, Deborah. That's the way wild animals should be shot, with a camera. They are just trying to exist just like we humans.

They did not kill one near the park. I hope that he is still alive.

I agree, Burke.

Nice shot Deb. I hope they are able to get a photo of the panther.

It is. Corn draws all of the animals in for pictures.

I applaud you Deborah. You are someone that truly loves animals and enjoy seeing them in their natural habitat.

I thought bobcats were meat eaters.

Burke commented on Wednesday, Apr 29, 2009 at 22:16 PM

They don't eat dogs, do they? I don't think they could catch a parrot even if there were any flying around here.

I want to come back as a bird or any flying creature when I die. No restrictions and FREE AS A BIRD. Just have to stay away from cats and guns.

I never thought about it but I see the cutest little bunnies and I bet he was snacking on them.

Even domesticated cats are really fast. A squirrel don't stand a chance around my barn cat, Smokey.

Burke you like everyone will come back as a Zombie.

Burke commented on Thursday, Apr 30, 2009 at 19:38 PM

How do you know, Gwarfan. Did you die and come back as one? LOL

Once the Zombie Wars begin we will all end up coming back as one.
