Take Me To Post Comment Form

You know, its interesting how everybody makes a resolution at the beginning of the year, only to forget about it a few weeks later. Well today, you're in luck. My goal is to motivate you to re-commit to that resolution! It's not too late to come back to the fold; you have a mere 256 days until D-Day, so put that slice of cake down, head on over to Mill Creek, and walk a few laps.

Some of you may say "Hey, Socialworkguy, I dont need to lose weight, I'm trying to stop smoking." Well, you only have 256 days left to fulfill the promise you made to yourself and/or your loved ones to kick the habit! Come on, you can do it! Kick the ol' butt right out of your life.

As for me, I have to get back on track with my weight loss. I am feeling kinda chunky today, and the fried chicken lunch only slightly added to my guilt...sigh...I wonder how many laps I have to walk at Mill Creek tonight to work off a chicken wing? If anybody knows, please tell me.

Resolutions, especially the infamous New Year's variety, seem to be as fleeting as the wind. Sometimes I think I just lie to myself annually as the result of a drunken stupor; however since I dont drink I will just come clean and say I make a resolution just because everybody and Dick Clark is. (hey, who wants to be left out of the party featuring the world's oldest teenager?)

256 days...well I did say I was going to lose weight...If I lose a pound next week I will have met my goal...with 249 days to spare!
