We have so much to be thankful for this season.

And while the world seems to be stressed beyond measure, we still need to take the time to count our many blessings. If you have a roof over your head and not facing foreclosure, if you have a job and not laid off, if you have good health and not ill.

While it is very easy to see all of the negative, there are times when I think if we consider the blessings we now possess then the grace and tender mercies of God will give us riches that money cannot buy.

I sincerely hope you and your entire family are drawn closer together this season.

And when you gather at the dinner table, please take the time to remember those who are in different circumstances, and those who are far from family in a land of hostility. And taking the time to pray for others, will benefit you and them.

Go very easy on the sweet potato pie! Ymm my favorite.

Very well said. Sometimes it is the little things in life that we should all be the most thankful for!

Raising Thanksgiving Awareness

During Thanksgiving, as American toiling masses traditionally give thanks to the government for what it has distributed to them, all conscientious members of community are required to experience the following emotions:

(a) deep gratitude to the government for letting them live;
(b) utter unworthiness compared to the magnanimity of the state;
(c) everlasting guilt for consuming what they have not produced, as well as for not giving back to the community according to their abilities.

If you do not experience said emotions, you are not a conscientious member of community and shall be disposed of according to the Party Manual (Page 894, Paragraph 5) with all your belongings confiscated by the state and redistributed to the more worthy members according to their needs.

Have A Glorious Progressive Thanksgiving!
(It's mandatory)
