Yeah, actually unless I put Club Zone in the subject line they will not answer, except for one that really has no interest in Club Zone, just discrediting me. We will see how many of them will respond to this. If they don't we will put Club zone in the subject line.
Wow this is a great idea! I will be checking at Citizen Bank to see if anyone really does donate anything... I wonder if those that have been really rude on here is up to the challenge or should I say dare.
Ok now, different ones will be asking me if I thought they were rude….. which they shouldn’t have to ask…they KNOW if they were or not!
Right Cathryn. If this does not work we will put CZ in the subject line. How did the fundraiser go? Maybe we can see these guys that have challenged me come up to the altruistic table.
The benefit was great! We had tons of fun! Later on I plan to post a blog for all the business’s that contributed, along with the ones from the blog that helped out too.
The Flock of Angels are so grateful to them all; we couldn’t have done it without their help.
Thanks lakerat a good idea..I did attend the event which turned out very nice.
Kathryn, you did a gread job with the limited time and help.
I do not read the blogs much but wanted to write in because I believe in helping people when in need.
I did not attend but thought it was a great idea. Thanks, Cathryn. We need a lot more like you. It is a shame we cannot clone you.
I am sure Pop's wife would be very grateful for what you have done.
lakerat,
Will not only take on the challenge but will challenge you as well..see if you can match what I donate at bank today.
Sounds like Kathryn will be able to tell how much I donate.
Kathryn, write on blog so I can find out as well.
Hope this helps.
Too bad all you guys who couldn't make it missed such a wonderful time! To see Cathryn dancing was worth it all, and to see the family surrounded by people who love them was touching. Some only stopped by for a minute and others stayed to help clean up and close it down.
I echo Cathryn's thanks to all who did indeed contribute time, food, music and effort!
I also add my two cents worth to lakerat's challenge. You don't have to be a negative blogger to donate but I'd love to see whether some of the more provocative bloggers here do put their money where their mouths are.
Boy some of you blogger and others are on the ball! Because when I dropped off the money at noon from the benefit, there had already been more checks deposited!! Way to go!
I'm like it, I love it, and I want more of it!
Ibdaisy, I'm no where around the words of "fit & firm", really so far away from those two words, it's not even funny...but dancing sure helps! BUT it has to be the oldies!.....HaHa
Colaguy, it was wonderful, seeing you there! Dang Boy, you clean up nice when you want too!....giggle
CBWill, I'm sure there are lots of other people that do the same as me, you just haven't met them yet...but thank you for the kind words! BUT...I DO WANT TO BE CLONED! I'm just waiting for the doctors to call me and tell me they are ready to clone me...YIPPIE!!!
UncleSam, are you really going to do the challenge? I hope, YOU KNOW that I will know if you don't...that goes for the others that were challenged too! WooHoo
Watchdog, now everyone knows about me dancing..BUT yes, it was great to see the family surrounded by all of us that care! The clean up help was wonderful... Because, I was really tried by the end of the night...
Well, that was ONE of the dances... we won't mention the others that had names, and I haven't come up with names for the dances you made up!!
As for clean up, you made the mess so others cleaned up LOL - no really, you did the MAJORITY of all the work, organizing... Stephen and Sally were wonderful caterers as well as company, doing all that after a busy day. You deserved to dance a lil, honey chile!
BTW thanks for stopping to check on me while I was pulled over texting somebody today!
I broke all ten of my toes showing a friends granddaughter how to do the funky chicken a few years ago.
Kathryn, I made my donation today around 5:00. You will know which one is mine since you know who I am. Tell Pop and family I am thinking of them.
lakerat wish you could have been there. Anywhere Glasford is, it's a party! I'll invite you when I get her to host one of " those" parties for me .....
Wait! It must be pick on me time...lol Me, party? I don't even drink...ok, I do drink my coffee....I just LOVE life!
Watchdog, did you see how far I got before I stopped the SUV? I was worried about my dog in the back seat and all that china, glassware, and other stuff in the very back...
Thank You Lakerat, I will be checkin' on the bank sometime tomorrow!
I just want everyone to know, that I will NOT be telling anyone who is who! I WILL tell if it's a blogger that made a donation (just not the real name)....
Pop's family is so THANKFUL for all the help...
I get the idea that you are an uninformed citizen. This story was on this blog just last week....AND in the paper.

This should help you out. I didn't have time to find the blog myself before, but I've just done it for you. This is the blog about POP.
The “Flock of Angels, a group of citizens living in Bulloch county and the surrounding area, are having a benefit for Pop (Ricky Cartee) and his family. The funds raised from this charitable event will be given to the family to assist them with the bills that have resulted from the passing of wife and mother Lisa on October 3.
Now Lakerat has a challenge to you and two others on here.
