Take Me To Post Comment Form November 11, 2008, Statesboro, GA- The Averitt Center for the Arts invites veterans, their families, and the Statesboro community to come participate in the annual Community Observance of National Veterans Day on November 11, at 11:00 a.m. This event is sponsored by the Averitt Center for the Arts and American Legion Dexter Post 90 is designed to honor all who have served our country during all wars.

Preliminary patriotic music begins at 10:30 a.m. featuring the First Four Quartet directed by Bill Cohen. Judge Gary L. Mikell will be the keynote speaker this year.

Join us at the Emma Kelly Theater for this recognition to thank all the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve valiantly to keep America safe. Let us to continue to appreciate those who are involved in protecting our country today.
