I was just curious about the status of refurbishing the LUETTA MOORE Park. I see on your website you list the pool as a feature there...how long has it been since it was filled? I have been in the community building and it has extensive termite damage and broken chairs. It is a shame to residents of Statesboro, it sends a bad message, perhaps you'd like to consider.

Pardon my ignorance, but is Luetta Moore Park the swimming pool on the McTell walking path? What website are you talking about? Is it the Bulloch County website?

No, Luetta Moore is on Martin Luther King Drive.
Mctell walking path goes by the Memorial Park/Honey Bowen Building.

The County got shafted when them and the City consolodated some things! The county got all the recreation areas, including those old parks. They say the pools are unrpairable and would have to be replaced!
The County can not afford to foot the bill itself.

Do you know the deal with the donated property on N. Main street? A new park, how are they gonna use that, I wonder?

It is supposed to be some sort of Park, that much was in the paper. I haven't heard any details though.
