Dow dropped again today for the 6th straight day. Why haven't people like Bill Gates, T. Boone Pickens, Donald Trump ( The Donald), and Ted Turner been consulted about the bailout/rescue plan and the terrible situation our economy is undergoing? Maybe get them all together for a " sit down" and discuss the issues and present some thoughts/ideas/suggestions. These folks know how to handle and make money. They need to be called in now....sooner than later.

I saw an interview with Donald Trump recently and he has endorsed McCain. He agreed there needed to be a bailout, but with specifications.

Dixie2, I wish we could yell loud enough for these politicans to hear us,,, maybe november 4 we can get that opportunity! We can show politicans they DON'T know everything.

Yes, why not turn to people outside congress? Do we want congress, who allowed this economic mess in the first place, be the ones to continue trying to bail us out?

Exactly. There are very few in Congress who are qualified to make decisions on economic matters. They need successful experts. I would like to say that Romney was very successful on Wall Street before his political career as well.

I have been watching cspan and there are experts out there telling us what to do, but they do not fit in the plan to bail out WallStreet...but what will they do when they have promised all that money and then the credit card market crashes?
