I think it's funny that Biden and his wife who have made milions in the past decade have donated a TOTAL of less than $4000 to charity since 1998. Here's a guy who wants to spend everyone else's money, but he won't even donate $400 a year to charity.
His running mate (Obama) has a half brother living on less than a dollar a day in Africa. Their donations also show the couple gave $27,500 to the "wright"church in 2005 and 2006.
Although the campaign has not released the couple’s 2007 return, it has said the Obamas gave $240,000 to charity in 2007. This compares with charitable donations as low as $1,050 a few years ago. (So closer to election day, their "charitable contributions" have gone up".
It's all about wealth distribution - if they really wanted to help others they'd do it with their own money.

Oh, I had seen Obama's giving against McCain's. Pathetic!! I'm still wondering why his brother is in a shack in Kenya.
I have seen in several sources that Conservatives give more to charity than Liberals. And by a fair margin too.
Why is that? I don't see that as being the case in my personal experience. I have known generous people of both persuasiona.
No offense, but I've noticed the same. There are way more democrats that are dependent upon the money that republicans make than the other way around. It's odd how that shakes out, but...
Sorry but my personal research shows that Government employees, Lawyers, welfare recipents, etc. etc. are demos. Business owners, Doctors, farmers, hard working americans are REPUblicans. Check it out.
Why has no one answered a question I asked in another blog about why Obama doesn't help his brother?
Same here, watchdog. By the way, my husband and I are on the deployment team for Florida at the end of the month until election day if all works out. I don't know where we will be at this time. I am willing to close my business for those days and lose pay...that is how strongly I feel about it!! While on the phone today with one of the campaign organizers I asked it I could express a concern. That concern was that John McCain is playing Mr. Nice Guy a little too much. I told her that Republicans here had a resounding request that he start toughening up. She assured me that she would pass this along and that they have heard that a lot these past few weeks. Can't wait to see this next debate!
