Tattnall Campmeeting

Take Me To Post Comment Form

For those of you that don't know about it, Tattnall Campmeeting is a special, old-fashioned religious experience for Christians in our area. A square with an over 100 year old Tabernacle in the center is the site of daily services, at 11:00 and 7:30. During the day, an excellent Day Camp and Overnight Camp is run for Pre-K to 5th and 3rd - 8th, respectively (which include all meals and arts/crafts). Though the camp is run by the Methodist Church, we get youth groups from various denominations.

This year, for the first time ever, a woman is going to be pastor, making for an interesting combination of tradition and modern day faith.

For more information and youth camp registration forms & prices, visit http://www.tattnallcampground.com/

Check it out -- you'll be glad you did. I haven't missed a Campmeeting in my entire life, in fact, I schedule my summer around it.
