Favorite place to relax and meditate

Since Spring, I have enjoyed sitting out on my bench in the back yard by the running brook. The overhang trees, shrubbery, flowers, etc. make such a nice place to sit , meditate and relax. Many times the squirrels can be seen scampering about and the birds taking a drink from the birdbath. I sometimes walk to the nearby Botanical Gardens to enjoy the peaceful and pretty surroundings. Some people prefer a more structured environment like Buddhist Centers, etc.

Where is your favorite place to relax, think, and just enjoy the surroundings?

I love to meditate on a mat of pond scum.If I didn't have to look out for smart Alec frogs,I'd spend most of my free time there.

I am a big fan of GSU's Botanical Garden, and also the trail at Mill Creek Park. There is something to be said about popping in my earphones, setting the iPod to "random shuffle" and walking a few laps around the park with Amelia.
