It has come to my attention the forms of prefixes that have sprung up on the internet. "I" as in ipod and iphone are two popular ones. Ebay came along and now we are seeing a lot of "my". There is even a section in Hillary Rodham Clinton's site now which includes , "My Pennsylvania". Starbucks , in an attempt to reinvent themselves, has a site called, "My Starbucks Ideas". "MySpace" has become such a popular site, especially amoung the younger folks. I wonder how long all these will last? Will they become overused especially with many copycats jumping on the band wagon? I imagine soon there will be "we" prefixes because people want to get connected and be a part of the community.
