If Stones Could Talk . . .
What would a stone be angry about?
What would a stone weep about?
What would you find if you turned over the stones of the Passion story?
You are invited to join us for this Contemporary Drama Service, The Stones of Passion at 7 AM Sunday. The Bible is full of imagery and one of these images is that of the rock or stone. This service tells the Easter story from the view of the stones along the route. It reminds us that Christ is our Rock and our Redeemer.
Then join us for a delicious breakfast in the Fellowship Hall followed by a delightfully children's presentation,The Glorious Rainbow of Easter. The children will proclaim Christ's victory over death using color symbolism. When the story of the Passion is complete, the colors represent the "Rejoicing Rainbow" of Easter.
All these activities will culminate with the 11 a.m. Celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ featuring the timely preaching of the Rev. Kathi L. Parchem and special music by the Choir and brass ensemble led by the talented Pam Radford.
Come to one or all of these festive opportunities to celebrate Easter at First Presbyterian Church 1215 Fair Road, Statesboro.
