West Main Art Gallery is proud to announce that photographs by Dr Curtis G. Hames Jr. are now on display.
Dr. Hames is a lifelong resident of Claxton, GA. He is a Family Practice physician who recently retired as the Chief of the Medical Staff at Georgia Southern University.
He has been an active photographer for over twenty years. His works concentrate on black and white landscapes mostly around Coastal Georgia.
He is most influenced by the work of Jack Leigh and Michael Kenna.
His works have been published in local and regional magazines and some of his photographs are in the permanent colletion of Georgia Southern University's Museum and the University of Georgia's Museum of Art.
