U.S. Census To Counts Citizens

The Democrats are once again showing their ignorance of The U.S. Constitution, by objecting to the Census asking the question about a person’s citizenship status. The Constitution requires the question to be asked, in order to count the number of citizens, for determining the number of Representatives in Congress, and other elective offices.

Article I section 2 requires a count of persons every ten years to determine representation. That is why the Census has asked the question of citizenship until the 1950 Census. Democrat President Truman had it removed from the 1950 Census form. President Trump is having it put back on the Census form for 2020.

The Democrats argue that Article I section 2 only requires the counting of all "persons" defined as “free persons" (citizens), including those bound to service for a term of years (indentured servants), and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all others "Persons" ( slaves)”. This is true, because in 1787 when it was written all “persons” were citizens. The word “persons” is further clarified by the 14th Amendment with the term “Citizens”.

The 14th Amendment gave citizenship to all slaves after the Civil War, and further defines the word “Persons” as “Citizens”, used in the Constitution. It states the following: “The Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States, according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial offices of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

The 14th Amendment also denies voting rights to anyone participating in a rebellion, or other crime (a felony).

So, when you hear the Democrats objecting to the citizenship question being on the 2020 Census, they have nothing to object to. The Constitution requires a Census every ten year in order to get an accurate count of all U.S. Citizens. The law must be followed.

Don't care to research the legal question. Pretty sure of the ulterior motive. But I find this post interesting, particularly that Texas preferred counting all residents, not just citizens, for local and state purposes.

Sorry, forgot to post the relevant paragraphs - for those who don't like to read an entire post...

Here 'tis

"The Supreme Court’s recent decision, in Evenwel v. Abbott, reflects these moral facts. This case involved a challenge to the Texan policy of creating districts that reflected total population, rather than the population of legal voters. A unanimous court declared that Texas was permitted to apportion voting districts by population – including the undocumented.

There are some interests, said the court, that are held by everyone resident in a place, “regardless of whether they qualify as voters.”

This decision is an example of how ignorant even Supreme Court Judges are of the Constitution. Their own ruling is UN-Constitutional. It violates Article I section 2 and the 14th Amendment. Their ruling can only be in a new Constitutional Amendment. The Constitution only allows the Legislative Branch to make laws. Liberal Presidents have been appointing Liberal Progressive judges for a 100 years, and there are many on the Supreme Court. Liberals rule the way they think the law should be, not what the law is. Their own ruling statement proves this point.

The Constitution states in Article I section 2: Representatives and Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers (Citizens) This means a State receives Representatives and Federal tax dollars based on the number of Citizens it has, counted by the Census.

Congress has chosen to illegally, on it’s own, distribute Federal Dollars according to the number of people living in a Congressional District rather than following the Constitution which limits it to just citizens. There are many examples like this that have created the great political divide in our country. The Liberal Progressives have spent the past 100 years corrupting the system.

The reason that the Left is so dead set against following the Constitution by asking the question of citizenship status on the 2020 Census, is how do you reconcile the count of citizens in a Congressional District determined by the Census, with the number of votes cast in that District in the 2020 election. These two numbers will not be the same, not even close to being the same. There will be many more votes than citizens, allowing the Liberal candidate to win. It will expose how much voter fraud has been going on. Liberal States would lose Congressional seats in Congress and the distribution of Federal Dollars would be far less to those States. This is why the Liberal Left is against following the requirement in the Constitution to count all citizens. It would expose the UN-Constitutional fraud that the Liberal Progressives have been perpetrating on the American People.

There is only one way to stop this UN-Constitutional fraud, stop voting for Democrats and Rino Republicans (Republicans in name only).

Ironside, it must be wonderful to be so much more informed in Constitutional law then all nine Supreme Court judges. And I wasn't aware that SCOTUS - as currently comprised - was such a fan of the Left.

Bryant: I know what I know by reading the Constitution. You should try it sometime.
