Paul Johnson talked about his team and what they would be doing this year in today's paper. Under the title of Five things to watch for when the Yellow Jackets open their season was this: Johnson experimented with the shotgun, including a diamond formation, with his quarterback last season. Johnson said it will be back to basics with his quarterback "under the center". He said he is determined his offense again will be efficient in the "triple option plays" which make Georgia Tech one of the nation's top rushing teams.

The game on September 13 against Georgia Southern should prove interesting. GSU will be running what Paul Johnson ran last year with the Fritz shotgun spread offense and Paul Johnson will be back to basics running the true "Georgia Southern Triple Option" with the quarterback under the center.

Really looking forward to this one. My family was at the first GSU-Georgia game and Lord willing we will be at this one.

GSU's football team, and program, have alot to prove this year......so expect them to come out fighting!! Go Eagles!!
