PSC seat in Republican Primary

Take Me To Post Comment Form

For those of you who have not voted early and will be voting Republican tomorrow, I have one entreaty. For the Public Service Commission seat do not vote for the incumbent, "Bubba" McDonald.

McDonald has admitted reports in the Atlanta Constitution that he comes to work less than 1/2 the time. This from a "public servant" who earns $ 116,000. And one who has consistently voted to approve whatever rate hikes Georgia Power trots out.

Of the other two, Messrs. Kidd and Lutz, I get no real warm fuzzy feeling from either but am leaning toward Kidd because of his stance on rising energy costs. Lutz does have a good position on biomass fuel development, however.

Sauce for the goose?
February 01, 2016
Reading Jack's "Notes From the Senate" (which I highly recommend for everyone) for the past week and found an interesting proposed law passed by the Senate. SB 282- Prohibits financial institutions from refusing to provide credit or services to lawful vendors of firearms and ammunition. (Banking and Financial Institutions Committee) ...

Inappropriate Reactions
December 21, 2015
What concerns me about the Middle East (among the many things too numerous to list) is our response to occurrences. People are killed in San Bernadino by a native born American and his legally resident wife who is from neither Iraq nor Syria, nor is she a refugee. Forget the ...
