It’s football season y’all! And I don’t know about you, but I could hardly wait for pigskin games to start. From recreation leagues to high school and college games, it’s all fun to me. I love tailgating and the crowds and can hardly wait to take my little one to the
Georgia Southern home games and hang out with our tailgating buddies.
In this month’s issue we have a fantastic feature on tailgating with toddlers. There are so many great things out there these days to make hanging out with babies so much easier, and two over-the-top GSU fans, Julie Foley – our cover mom – and Suzanne Hallman share their tips and tricks to manage awesome game day outings with the newest generation of Eagle Nation.
In honor of Grandparent’s Day, we chose an outstanding grandmother to be this month’s Go Girl. Pam Hodges, known by her grandkids as “Hershey,” absolutely loves spending time with her four grandchildren. She spends so much time with them, in fact, that she has four car seats in her car at nearly all times.
We also have some really cool columns this month from Beauty Columnist Casey Alexander and our Dad Columnist Scott Garner. And a new column from me about coping with separation anxiety with expert advice from local pediatrician Dr. Elizabeth Penn and Tina Banks, the director at Kidovations Childcare Services.
We hope you really enjoy this month’s issue of Moments. Now, go get your game face on!
