Why did G. Gordon Liddy and Howard Hunt brake into the Watergate Hotel rooms on June 17, 1972, that ultimately lead to President Richard Nixon resigning. Richard Nixon was in the final months of his re-election bid. Liddy and Hunt and three others broke into the suite of rooms being used as the Democrat National Party’s Election Headquarters in the Watergate Hotel. According to G. Gordon Liddy, who stated years after the break-in , that they were looking for the evidence to prove that the Watergate rooms were being used to receive large cash donors to the Democrat Party’s election campaign in exchange for the donors being wined and dined with prostitutes.

Nixon covered up the break-in so he could win re-election in 1972. The Democrats upset about losing the Presidential election, believed if the truth about the Watergate cover-up were made public before the election, Nixon would have lost the election. The Democrats kept investigating the cover-up which finally lead to Nixon resigning.

The same is true about the Benghazi Attack which killed our Ambassador and three other Americans. What we are slowly learning is that President Obama, faced with the same re-election situation as Nixon, covered up what happened in Benghazi blaming the attack on an anti-Islamic video, so he could win re-election. What we are now learning is that he met with
Defense Secretary Panetta around 5:00pm, about an hour after the attack began, and was informed about the ongoing violent attack at Benghazi. Panetta stated that the President told him “to do what you can” and that the President had no further contact with him after that 5:00pm meeting. The President was missing in action for the next eight hours while the attack in Benghazi raged on. The next morning the President flew to Las Vegas for a re-election campaign fundraiser. If the truth about what the President did and did not do in response to the Benghazi attack were know before the election, he would have lost. That is why he covered it up and had Clinton, Rice, and others lie to the American people saying the anti-Islamic video was the cause of the attack. We still don’t know what the President was doing or not doing, during the eight hours when the attack was going on. This is the information he is desperately trying to keep from the American People.

In addition to this, what was Ambassador Stephens doing in Benghazi? Stephens had sent several cables to the State Department expressing his strong concern about a lack of security at the Benghazi Consulate, yet he goes there on all days, to go, 911. What was so important for him to be in Benghazi on the anniversary of the 911 Attacks on the U.S.. Washington insiders have suggested that he was there to meet with Al Qaeda leaders and leaders of other Islamic terrorist groups to work out getting back the weapons, that the United States had given these groups to bring down Omar Kaddafi. What he did not know was that the Al Qaeda and other terrorist group leaders were already planning to transfer these weapons to Syria and other Al Qaeda and terrorist groups fighting in Syria. These terrorist leaders now saw an opportunity to assassinate Ambassador Stephens who they no longer needed to supply them with weapons.

In other words, Ambassador Stephens was gun running with terrorists. The Democrats tried to impeach President Reagan for selling weapons to Iran when it was at war with Iraq and Saddam Hussein. Yet, President Obama was perhaps (We don’t know yet because the President has been stonewalling the investigation ) selling weapons and gun running with the enemy of the United States.

Finally, when Tyrone Moore; a former navy seal; placed his laser beam on the mortar that was firing rounds onto the compound at Benghazi, he had to have gotten confirmation that the drone flying overhead was ready to fire a laser guided missile, or he would not have lit up the target, because his laser beam pointed back to his position. Someone had to call off that missile firing, and that got Tyrone killed. Did the President, the only one with the authority to call off a strike, give that order not to fire? This happened during the eight hours that the President was no where to be found or heard from?

It will take more time to get around the President’s stonewalling but the truth will come out. Stay tuned.
