"That day in the park, our first time
my changing world leaped!
Then..your amazing eyes met mine.

I was lost without a doubt. I was taken!
There was no mistakin'
what I was see'n should be mine.

There, under the massive moss covered oaks
park benches all 'round my heart already yours
without apprehension, I gave to you again without pretention.

I felt your feminine softness as your hand clasped tightly to mine.
I felt my heart leave me to be with you..in your heart and mind
as my world so wound up and lost was suddenly again ...found!

Later, we held hands under a Riverstreet table
like two teenagers sharin' wanton looks
wantin' each other but at the time unable.

Our goodbye was so hard. I didn't wanna go!
I didn't wanna lose sight of my baby's pretty face
and go back to where I didn't belong; here in this place.

And now, this "us", the "you and me" jus' get older
still holdin' on..still wantin' each other
knowin' without the other why bother when there is none other."

Teapotter,

Your imagery is superb! I could see the two in my mind as I was reading it.

Wonderful poetry.

Acushia, "The Pulse of my Heart"
October 22, 2013
Had I known could I have chose? My minds image portrays a dulcet voice. To turn away now, is not a choice. Feelings tingling, mingling, inexplicable infatuation is close. The inevitability of acting upon the stimulation of simple words between two, needs no explanation. Unequivocal and underlying are aroused senses. ...

“I'm sitting here quite retrospective; about to remove years of old crud, varnish and stain from once beautiful antique dining room chairs that in my heart will always belong to my mother and father along with the now once again very beautiful accompanying table I've just refinished. All have been through ...

Chuck the Lil Red Truck (goes to the festival)
August 24, 2013
Chuck didn't know what to make of the festive poster he'd just passed. "Pig Pick'n Festival! Oct. 11!" He blinked his lights and thought, "What's that?" Mr. slowed Chuck down- stopped and looked both ways before turning back around. After reading the poster, they headed into town. Mr. knew his ...
