Homosexuality has been around since the last ice age nearly 100,000 years ago. Why should your comment make any difference?

Would you agree there are far more things to focus on than homosexuality? Recently, we had a young woman murdered in this town as a result of domestic violence. Are you doing anything to prevent domestic violence? murder? Are you doing anything to assist victims of domestic violence? Are you working with at-risk children to make sure their life can reach it highest potential? Are you working to prevent child molestation?

Are you doing things for the elderly senior citizens who could use a helping hand? Visiting those in nursing homes who don't have any visitors?

As Christians, we are tasked with the responsibility to defend those who cannot defend themselves - for one reason or another. Have you defended someone who cannot defend themselves recently?

Stress is the work of the devil. How are you reducing your stress and how are reducing the stress in others?

Are you doing anything to accentuate the positive in everyone?

Instead of talking hellfire and damnation, why not talk about the power of positive thinking? You will find that you are less stressed out and will have a better day. Take it from someone who had a bitter attitude about things - but has since seen the way to a more positive lifestyle.

In closing, I will wish that you will awaken tomorrow just like you did today, but healthier and happier.

Yes, we all have a point of view and our society works best when each one of us is allowed to communicate it whether it be through words typed on a computer, a painting, a photograph, a song, a dance, or whatever.

Now, some viewpoints may appear to be without merit; however, we shouldn't silence them. If someone in the savannahs of southern Africa says the world is flat - from their point of view it may appear that way. However, from the International Space Station the world is anything but flat.

Some may say "What about my first amendment right to speak?" Yes, fine and dandy - just respect my right to voice my opinion of what you are saying.

Yes, if someone says something you don't like - you don't have to shame them; simply walk away. I know, even Walkie has his flaws too.

But to augment what you are saying, if all you can do is scandalize the person for what they are saying - your position is pretty weak and you will need to reexamine it. Hopefully you will revise and extend your remarks shortly thereafter.

My augment is not weak you have a right to speak up about you belief and should not be shame for it.

That's the problem with the word "you" typed out. Sometimes it's confusing in how it is meant. Kind of like the word "Aloha". Sometimes it means "Hello". Sometimes it means "Goodbye".
