"GSU" Have anyone notice how harse they are to their employees. They are already overworked and underpaided, but the way they talk to them is just not right, the workload is terrible and the setup even worst. They combined the two resturants and have so many bosses and managers so mixed up following so many different rules til they are all confused. They went from being Eagle Nest & Lakeside Cafe to being a mess!!

loveferry, when did they do all of this. I have not been on campus in a while but I have lots of great memories of lunch at Lakeside. I hate to hear it is gone. What are the building in its place?

Flowmaster,

According to my source on campus, Lakeside is not gone forever. GSU closed Lakeside in June and Landrum in July. Lakeside is getting a major facelift in order to handle a much larger study body. Landrum is the same story. The Nest is a temporary building behind the Nessmith-Lane building that houses a restaurant for all of the hungry kids on campus.

The new Lakeside and Landrum is scheduled to reopen in August 2013 (if not sooner).
