I don't know the truth of the matter but I agree with the site that the attack upon the person making the allegation rather than a flat denial smells.

I also wonder why candidates such as Sheffield, and Allen, and McLeod, are spending $ 100,000 and $ 250,000 of their own money? For a job that doen't pay nearly that well, considering cost of living in DC and commute costs. But - I could say the same of Barrow or other Democratic candidates.
