Take Me To Post Comment Form Although we feared that we would have to jump on the boat that Custom Marine had parked on Siebald Street and float away because of the rain storm that passed over downtown Friday afternoon, Staycation brought about 15 vendors, 130 members of the community, Spider Man, Splashy and the Zaxby’s chicken to the Courthouse lawn!
Along with the big, shiny, red boat and rain puddles, Ellis Travel Trailer parked a large RV beside all of the festivities that were going on.
The sound of laughter filled the air as children played games brought by local churches, sat on the motorcycles and four-wheelers brought by Statesboro Yamaha, and got their picture taken with Splashy, the mascot from Splash in the Boro.
As the sun went down, Staycation was still dripping with excitement about the events Statesboro has to offer this summer.
