BIO: I am a veteran of the USAF, having served in the Korean War. I have lived in the south since 1973, and in this area since 1975. I am a retired master English teacher, having taught in the classrooms of America with other people's children for 40 years. I have been growing roses as a hobby for almost as long as I spent in the classroom, and have found gardening to be a great stress reliever. I am a long-time member of the ARS, and am a CR Emeritus. I also belong to the Millen Rotary Club where I am a director. I am also a member of Pittman Park UMC. Oh, and BTW, I am single, and plan to stay that way for the rest of my life. Some people should be married, but I don't happen to be one of them. My favorite saying is: "Life on this planet is not about me."
